About

Jaida Paolini

Jaida is a dedicated and experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 15 years of expertise in mental health and substance use disorders. After earning her Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from Boston College in 2007, Jaida received advanced clinical training at two of the nation’s most prestigious psychiatric hospitals—McLean Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital. These formative experiences shaped her clinical practice and approach to supporting individuals and families through crisis and recovery.

Throughout her career, Jaida has worked across diverse settings, including community mental health centers, inpatient psychiatric units, psychiatric emergency rooms, and admissions. She has developed a deep understanding of the complexities of mental health and substance use, working with individuals in acute crises as well as those navigating long-term recovery processes. Her roles have included direct clinical care as well as program management, and she has provided invaluable support to families dealing with new mental health or substance use diagnoses, suicide attempts, and escalating behavioral health crises.

At the University of Colorado at Boulder, Jaida contributed her expertise as a counselor in the university’s counseling center and later as a program manager for behavioral health, where she was instrumental in developing and managing initiatives aimed at improving mental health services for students.

Jaida’s clinical approach is rooted in a compassionate, evidence-based framework that prioritizes the integration of family systems, harm reduction, and trauma-informed care. She is deeply committed to helping individuals and families navigate the emotional and psychological challenges that accompany mental health crises and substance use disorders.
